It was time for a facelift

First a headboard, that we made out of skirting board, staining it the same colour as the room furniture, then a wrap for the base of the bed (marvellous new invention that fits snug around the base with elastic – no more hauling the mattress off every time you want to straighten the night frill!). Followed by  a chocolate brown soft throw and finally lavender on the pillows.

Elevated walkways in the belly of the gorge at Graskop, hanging bridges over the river and a glass elevator with a sheer drop of 51 meters to take you there! Construction on this exciting project has already started and completion is planned for the end of this year.

New visa rules will facilitate tourism growth

Issued by the Ministry of Tourism, 15 Feb 2016. Changes in visa regulations will stimulate growth in the tourism industry, particularly for Chinese tourists. Long-term multiple-entry visitors’ visas and ten-year multiple entry visas can be applied for subject to criteria. The Department of Home Affairs also made changes to regulations regarding children travelling.
