Zambian Tourism delegation visits Nabana Lodge

Nabana Lodge had the pleasure of hosting the post Indaba Tour's Zambian delegation.

Mpumalanga Tourism Provincial Administration with Bongani Tshabalala as host took tourism delegations from all over the world on a whirlwind post Indaba tour recently. The Zambian delegation, represented by the Zambia Tourism Board and tour operators was hosted at Nabana Lodge for one night. We had a blast – tourism stories were swopped, border restraints to sustainable tourism was analysed and information on Tour and Safari companies in Zambia was discussed.

The Zambia delegation presented me with a gift of Chitenge cloth, local Zambian art and a lovely handbag. The following day they were taken on a tour of the Panorama route, including Sabie, Graskop, waterfalls, God’s Window and Bourke’s Luck. No tour to Mpumalanga is complete however without a visit to the Kruger National Park, and they were able to spend at least a morning there before flying back home.

Thank you Messias from Victoria Falls Anytime Tours, Angela Chimpinde from the Zambia Tourism Board, Eugene Mapuwo from Euma Tours, Max Masempela from Maxmas Travel & Tours and Paul Mupinde from The Makuni Big 5 Safaris. I hope to one day take up your offer of a visit to Zambia. It sounds like a marvellous place to visit.
